Any one notice the AT&T symbol on the top left goes away at random?

Nope it doesn't. It goes away when you get a notification or pull the S Pen out

Yup you are right. I have the accuweather app installed. The temperature takes the place of att. Thank you.

Is it for any notification? I've seen this happen on other at&t android phones but never attributed it to notifications.

I'd actually be glad if I had AT&T and the symbol went away... What do I need them to show my network on my screen space? .

Gotta be honest, I hadn't noticed. At all. Not even a little bit. I'm not saying its not important, I just hadn't noticed.

Rooted and removed that carrier nonsense. It took the space of about 2 notifications and just seemed out of place to me.

My AT&T symbol goes away when I have a notification (email, text, etc)

Im still having this problem but when it appears and disappears my phone is chiming its life away. Its driving me nuts! Im noticing that it happens when Im on my home wifi. Still trying to figure what is going on.
