android 8.1

hi, i have just bought a mini hk1 box, with rk3229 chip running 8.1. when connected to wifi im only getting 25% speeds of what i usually get, and have tested at 2 other places and the same issue, would anyone have a solution this this problem, thank you

Ok, but also do the other thing I suggested -- go to Settings>Wi-fi, tap the network, then look at the link speed (which is different from your download speed). The link speed is the maximum throughput from your router. If it's really low, that would make me wonder if you're truly connecting through 802.11n, or if the router might be set to an older and slower wireless protocol (like 802.11g, which has a maximum speed of 54 Mbps, or 802.11b, which has a maximum speed of 11 Mbps).

That's about all the advice I can offer, I'm afraid. It may be some kind of hardware or firmware defect. Is the box under warranty, or are you able to request a replacement or refund?
