Android Auto and Gallaxy S9

[Android Central Question]

My wife got a new 2018 Honda Pilot. We loaded android Auto on both of our phones (Gallaxy S9). Hers linked to the Honda flawlessly. Mine on the other hand will blue tooth but wont connect via cable (same cable my wife's will connect with). It also starts Do Not Disturb as soon as I turn the Android Auto on. I don't know if that is an issue? My wife's does not do that. Can anyone help me figure out why I cannot project my phone onto the screen and control my phone in the same manner as my wife"s?

My Galaxy S9 will not consistently connect or maintain connection to my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek with Android Auto. Making me crazy. Help!
