Another question for my buddy with Ally...

We noticed tonight that his phone memory was down to 95mb. He only has a few apps on the phone. Stock phone, not rooted. All his pictures and such are on micro SD card. I have waaaaay more apps on my Incredible and still have over 600mb of space left.

Any idea as to why he is so low on memory? He went thru and cleared cache and history in his browser and all cache for his apps and even force closed everything.

The Ally only has 126mb available for storage out of the box.
IMO, it's one of the biggest shortcomings of this phone. You can't install many apps before it gets bogged down. Which is why this phone needs 2.2 so apps can be moved to the SD card.
