Is anyone else having this problem? When I try to respond to an incoming text with voice, and I say "no". Android Auto for some reason adds an "e" to the "no", spelling "Noe", which it doesn't understand. It asks me again if I'd like to reply and when I say no again, it turns once again to "noe". After the 3rd time, it ignores me and brings up all the businesses in the area that begin with "Noe". WTF?

I made a video of the issue, but I guess I can't upload mp4 files to show everyone.

I speak through my cars microphone. I don't have any problems with any other applications (like when I speak to Google directly, asking for the weather, or other information), or with talking on phone to people or anything like that. It's only with no/noe that AA is getting wrong.
Just that one word huh, so crazy:(

It all happened a few updates ago. Was working fine until then. Might take into the T-Mobile store nearby and have them take a look at it. Very least they can (hopefully) tell me where the dictionary is.

You can go to the Google app long press it then tap info>tap e dots upper right corner and uninstall the update (don't let play store update it automatically) see if that previous version works better as it's responsible for Google assistant, definitely can reach out to them not sure how much help they can provide but never hurts to ask.

Your personal dictionary should be in the Gboard settings.

Open any app that you can type in>look at the upper left side of the keyboard and there should be 4 squares in a square tap that>then tap the gear icon for settings>Dictionary>Personal Dictionary>select your language>See what if any words you have saved here. Make corrections, additions or subtractions.

Let us know what you find.

I'll post screenshots when I get a chance.

In case you don't find any help in that area, there used to be a way to replace words. I remember seeing prank videos of people doing stuff like make "dad" "lover" to mess with a sibling or friend. So every they texted them it would say something different than what they intended. If you can find it maybe you can change "Noe" to "no"?

Well, I think I figured out what was causing the trouble. I took the phone to T-Mobile and a very knowledgeable employee helped me out. It was two things.

First was, somehow, I had BOTH the Samsung keyboard AND the Google keyboard on at the same time (don't ask me how). So we turned one of them off.

The 2nd thing, (and this should've been obvious), is: that I had someone in my contacts list with the last name "Noe" haha. I changed it to just "N" for the last name and now it's working fine.

Oh, but as knowledgeable as the guy was, neither he, nor anyone at the store could find my personal dictionary. That's still a mystery.

Thank you all for your help in this.
