Apps can not be installed on lollipop

Hi all. After upgrading to lollipop i decided to factory reset my note 4, after that many apps cant be installed like mx player and tunein radio when i press on install it begins installing then says : app not installed.
Is there a solution for this? cause i really need those apps running on my phone.

I don't know this for sure, but they may not have updated those apps to Lollipop. That would be a bummer, and also I wouldn't think it to be likely for such a popular app though, but who knows?

This is really bad they seem to be updating their apps every 2 months or something, also someone said that my app has the same permission of another app already installed and that is a lollipop problem! ( cant install 2 apps with the same permission )

It is up to the developer of the app to make it Lollipop compatible. Are any of the reviews in the Play Store for the app, showing the same issues?

Also, you don't have another version of the app installed on your phone do you?

Are you sideloading the apps or getting them from the Play Store?

No unfortunately i dont have another version, and i download all my apps from 1 mobile market because playstore is not accessible in my country

Ahhh.. You might want to do a search for MX Player apk and find it from another source.

Also at xda, someone there might have the apk stored on another site for people in countries that can't get the Play Store.

This is the newest version number, you can add that to the search terms.

There is also the developer email address here and emailing them might get you some help and answers.

And that is exactly what happened, found a link on xda downloaded it and boooom it is working now..
