Anyone use the stock messaging app? When I get a text it looks different than before. The person's texts are all one after another then my replies. It doesn't seem to be in order the texts are sent or delivered.

Well if you're having issues downloading or installing, you should contact AT&T, they can push the download to you if its showing that you "have the current" but don't. Now, if its failing during install, then they probably will not be able to help you if a hard reset doesn't help you, if that's the case, in that install keeps failing, and you've not rooted, then a warranty issue might be in order.

Mine would fail also at 27%. Took it to AT&T and they replaced it. Got home and the update worked. But I've had about 3 random reboots in 24 hrs. Never had one on 4.3.

Interesting regarding the reboots! Sounds like att needs to fork over another one. The one I got from att Monday, updated fine to Kitkat and I've had zero issues.

It almost seems that an app (that might not be compatible with KK 4.4) might be causing the issue for some. I say this because there are so few of those issues reported happening. Here's what you can try, it the reboots continue. Turn off all unnecessary apps using Application Manager. If the problem stops, then start turning on your apps one at a time to see which one might be causing the issue. Time consuming, but the alternative is to take it back and get another one.

After the update the phone does seem more responsive and everything is working great except now my bluetooth is destroying my battery. I have it on 24/7 either paired with my headset or my car. In 6 hours with little use my battery is down to 62%...25% showing as bluetooth.

Try clearing cache for bluetooth in application manager, then turn airplane mode on then off.....then reboot phone, Worth a shot.

Original s-view case would not work with home button.could trigger by s-pen removal or power button . keyboard issues like correct an freeze.an a serious difference in battery usage.

I'm getting huge battery drain from android services. My phone dropped 12 percent in two hours with the same settings I had before the update. This is not acceptable. My android services is draining more battery than my display.

I updated mine but as soon as it rebooted, it started freezing and now every time I reboot it, it works for about 30 seconds and then it just freezes up again. I cleared the cache and did a factory reset but nothing.

The bottom line is..."some" may get away without doing a Factory Reset, yet there are others, to whom complain about these issues mentioned above, that "will" require a Factory Reset. Get Kies 3, backup your device, do factory reset, then restore. This "should" resolve most issues.
