Hi, I have a question: does the Build version affect the Custom ROM?

I have a P10 lite with a "WAS-LX1A 8.0.0.362 (C432)" build and i installed a Custom Rom based on crDroid 10. However the latest official build available was "WAS-LX1A 8.0.0.394 (C432)". Does this mean that the phone is affected by the build and therefore it would have been better to install 394 first?

Thanks

The official build would be different from a custom build , are you saying there is a custom ROM build that has the official latest build?
I'm sorry, I probably didn't explain well.

I was on the Official Rom "WAS-LX1A 8.0.0.362 (C432)" and I flashed the Custom Rom. But I didn't know that the update "WAS-LX1A 8.0.0.394 (C432)" was available.

So, was it better update at 394 first, and then, install the Custom Rom?

Because the "phone information" gives me the Build "WAS-LX1A 8.0.0.362 (C432). So I think the build may affect the Custom Rom.

Sorry for my english.

If you flashed a custom ROM, it doesn't matter what build you were on before. That software is gone now. The only way it can matter is because of the baseband firmware and bootloader version... But if you have successfully flashed the ROM that is obviously not an issue.

So it is not necessary to improve the performance of the smartphone to update it at 394 and then install the custom rom?
