Compare & Contrast please

I have a Captivate I got back when they first dropped on AT&T and its awesome. It was my first android phone and I have it all rooted & ROm'd & personalized - its the coolest gadget i've ever owned.
So since I like tweaking my Captivate so much I bought an unlocked dev G-1 to play with.
The Captivate is my only experience with Android so far how will it compare to a g1? I plan on keeping them both and swapping them out once in awhile.

Seems like something that you should be posting the answer to. While it's easy to find anyone with experience with a given device, the pool of people quickly decreases in size as you add experience with other specific devices.
