My perfect phone:

-Made by HTC, called HTC Awesome
-Metal build
-4.8 inch, 3650x2890, Super AMOLED, capacitive display
-5 GHz Dual-core MSM10920 Snapdragon Processor (I'm sure they'll use that model number sometime in the future)
-3.5mm headphone jack
-Micro SD card slot supporting up to 512GB card
-64GB Internal memory
-22 Megapixel back camera with 1080p HD video
-10 Megapixel front camera with 1080p HD video
-6 Microphones for noise cancellation
-350000000 mAh battery (but by magic, keep the phone .01mm thin)
-Android 4.5 with HTC Sense 2.4
-Verizon coverage with roaming capabilities
-$199 on contract

Is that too much to ask?

Made by HTC (Quality build)
snip...
4" Super amoled gorilla glass display (960x640 @ 326ppi)

You do realize that with the increased screen size and keeping the same resolution as Iphone 4, the ppi would no longer be 326 right? The new pixel density would be 288.44ppi. That is still very high however.

And that's exactly what I hate about what Apple does to peoples tech vocabulary. I have a friend at work who has a 15" Macbook Pro, and when the 13" Macbook Air came out, with the exact same resolution, he was going on about how it had a higher pixel density so he was bummed.

Damn you, Steve Jobs!

Please notice how I didn't say Apple fans, or iPhone fans. It's not their fault, it's Steve's fault.

Well I would say Verizon but they cost too much and Sprint just has horrible service in my area. Actually My area is a dead zone on their coverage map.

I would take Verizon's coverage but T-Mobile's pricing.

Okay wait we're dreaming here. I don't want a handset at all. I want the main unit to be a a subdermal implant that is wirelessly/bioelectrochemically connected to cochlear implants and either retinal implants or a HUD integrated with my glasses, converts brainwaves to text, and controls a tiny but fearsome uvula-mounted laser. Also my useless man nipples would be replaced with tiny robotic t-rex hands that could rend flesh, help out around the kitchen, or play a miniature banjo without me having to think about it. Also I want to be able to converse with dolphins.

holy crap what a dream! this should be in the urban dictionary under man's dream phone.

ps i just submited to urban dictionary and it is going to be under the name of Astrodroid@androicentral.com for the definition of Man's Dream Phone.
