Is there anyway to disable the fingerprint when the screen is off?
It keeps trying to unlock the phone just when the skin of my hand touches the sensor while holding the mobile in my hand and it continues to make vibration until it locks for 30 seconds from the false trials... I am afraid this may affect the sensor.

The only time the sensor will be disabled when the screen is off is when the proximity sensor is covered. Hence pocket mode. Otherwise, not to be rude, but either hold it differently or turn the fingerprint sensor off, that's the only way I see your problems solved.

Is there any risk of affecting the sensor from this false unlocking trials?

I couldn't be 100% sure about that, but I wouldn't imagine so. The sensor is meant to be used very often, even with normal usage. I would say you'd have more concern of the vibration motor wearing out over the sensor, since that's actually a moving part. But even that is probably at a low risk.
