Flip Or Move Keyboard On HTC One M7

[Android Central Question]

I have an HTC One M7 with a large dead spot in the bottom of the screen that makes unlocking it difficult and probably soon impossible. I prefer to wait another month or 2 before buying a new phone. Is there a way to move the keyboard up to the top of the screen, or just flip the display?
