Games keep losing connection

Everytime I play a game on my phone it says connection lost or retry login in after 30-60 seconds of game play. It isn't a connection issue as I've had not problem with other apps. It is only games. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, wifi, resetting the phone, clearing cache, optimizing phone, nothing has worked. It just started in my most recent update. I've got a galaxy s8. Any tips?

Are these games from play store?
You using any antivirus/ad blocker/VPN/app cleaners?
Are you playing them in game launcher?

I posted the original question. I do have a VPN but it's never been an issue before. This just started happening after the most recent android update.

Also yes downloaded from Google play store and launched in game launcher.

For testing purposes can you turn off the vpn and reboot your device? Those stuff i mentioned i suggested because we see lot people have issues because of it
