Does this quick charge the honor 8?I know that some qualcomm quick charge chargers will charge the honor 8 very slowly

Not 100% sure, but will reach out to the company. I'd imagine it would charge quickly over USB-C though.

If honor used the standard qualcomm quick charge method then I wouldn't worry,it's just that they chose to use a special fast charging method

It might work. If someone have an old QC2.0 charger or QC3.0 charger, they could try plugging it in and see if quick charge will enable... But from digitaltrends:

Andrew mentioned that it didn't work for him :

"When plugging it into my Quick Charge 3.0 wall plug or Quick Charge 2.0 battery it would only pull about 5V/1A, which is rather slow ... a "standard" 5V/2A charging plug gave it the best speeds outside of its own in-box charger."

I know some others have said that some do work.... Which is why I am asking if this specific one works
