HMS Core Update stuck at 1% now the 2nd time.

Hi,

now its the 2nd time starting the update for hms core .. but every time i start the update .. the update routine got stuck at 1% .. my location is germany.
Any suggestions what to do?

Continuous notifications on updating of Huawei HMS Core for 1 week. Few days ago, % updating was 35%. Yesterday and today, stuck at 53%. Warning not to cancel updating! Causing unnecessary inconvenience and anxiety. What's happening?!?! What is this all about?!?!?

Try rebooting your router , you using any VPN ? Can update download with data ?

Is it stuck on an updating screen, or is this just a notification in the notification panel? Which phone do you have?

Status of stagnant progress in the update of HMS Core is in the notification. Device is Huawei tablet. No problem with router.

Now, notification has disappeared, like few days/a week ago. It re-appeared sometime ago. Wondering whether notification will continue to re-appear and disappear. Very, very strange.

How do you know no problem with router ? You tried another wifi ?

Maybe it disappeared because it finally finished the update. HMS is Huawei's analogue of Google Play Services, which also updates in the background, so it might be best just to let it do its thing, as long as it isn't affecting the performance of the device.

Probably so. But no indication of it, no message, no date, time of update. So, wondering whether done or not done, or what is happening?!

Make a note of the current version number for HMS (in Settings>Apps), and then the next time this happens, see if the number goes up.
