Honor 9 Lite - Help, Dual sim cards not working

Hello all,

I bought a Honor 9 Lite when I was living in France. Now I am living in Canada, and while I needed a Canadian number for practical reasons, I decided to also keep my French number in order to take advantage of the much cheaper data plan they have.

So I bought a voice/text plan from Koodo Mobile, but I am encountering a problem when I try using both SIM cards at the same time. In the SIM card menu, when I choose the French card to use the data with, the Canadian card does not work at all: it says the network is unavailable. However, if I switch and choose the Canadian card to use the data with, both cards work just fine.

Obviously, I'm trying to use the French card for data and the Canadian card for phone/text : do you know how I could resolve this issue?
