Android Central Question

I have a Samsung phone that is unlocked, I purchased myself. My plan is with QLink, and I want to use a QLink SIM card. It (the phone) has already been authorized as compatible to work with the service. I placed the SIM into the phone, but now I cannot make calls, send messages, or use my Data. I called QLink, the Rep said that the SIM card number that was sent to me does not match the one on file. Why can't they activate the one that is in my phone? or can I activate it myself online? I was told that I need to purchase a new SIM card for $5. I do not want to wait 7 days to receive my SIM card.

Welcome to Android Central! You pretty much have to go with what Q Link tells you. If they say your current SIM card isn't registered correctly with your account, and they tell you that the only thing you can do is get a new card from them, then do that.
