How to boot into Clockwork recovery?

I need to get into the Clockwork recovery so i can restore my phone but i don't know how to boot into it. Can anybody please help me?

Assuming you have it installed..

either do it via adb (adb reboot recovery) and choose apply update.zip..

or

hold both volume up and volume down and press and hold the power key. When "Samsung" goes away, let go and wait a few seconds for it come back up. Then choose apply update.zip.

I clicked on restore and "ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.1.0" came up but it doesnt look like it is doing anything... Do I just wait?

I pulled the battery, tried again and this time it started the restore. Thank you very much

Or download the free version of Rom manager. You have a menu option to boot striaght into recovery, just a bit faster if you like flashing roms on a regular basis.
