how to get ready for android L OTA?

i have re-flash factory image, removed root and locked the bootloader.

anything i need to do to be ready to accept the OTA when it comes?

Hey I'm pretty sure that what you have done is right. I was just wondering how did u Unroot and lock the bootloader? Sorry for replying with a question.

i used the nexus root toolkit. pretty easy to do. i use this sometimes on the 4 nexus devices i have. it's saved my bacon on more than a few times.

Did I read somewhere that Android L will not be pushed to the Nexus 7 - 2012?

i've been reading the opposite. sadly, my galaxy nexus won't though. n4, n5, both n7's, n10, are getting it.

Thanks. I wanted to use NRT but was scared of it causing problems on my phone. Just wanted to know is it safe?
And as far as I know the Nexus 7 2012 will not get the Lollipop update. Sorry.

i believe NRT is safe. usually i use it to fix things after i first screw it up. once, in twrp recovery i actually wiped the device. including system. yikes.

NRT got me up and running again.

anyway, i sure hope you guys are wrong and that i am right.
