how to see embedded videos?

ive got a us cellular galaxy S mesmerize. and it seems as though i cant see embedded youtube videos(and maybe other embedded videos?)

i can watch the same video on youtube directly with no problem, or even if if someone posts an actual link instead of embedding it. then it pulls up the option to watch it on browser or youtube. but if its embedded and you look at the forum page it is on, its as though someone left i giant blank spot in their post...

i have tried it on friends with the same phone, and have the same problem so i dont think its a setting on mine thats causing the problem.

any way to do something about that? maybe even an app?

What version of Android are you running? 2.1 or 2.2? Has your phone been updated to the most recent software? From your home screen Menu > Settings > About Phone...let us know what firmware you are on and the build number.

I haven't had the problem you're describing, but we'll see if we can't help you get it figured out.

What application are you running when you try to see the embedded video? Stock browser?
