I thought I could use htc sync manager to link two smart tv's. Was this a mistake?

I lost all my apps on my Samsung smart tv in the bedroom, but they are still on the one in the living room. I have been trying all morning to restore these apps and ran across HTC sync manager. I thought I read that I could link the two tv's using this software, but now that I'm in it, it appears it's just for linking phones to tv's. Was downloading this software a mistake?
