I got the Thunderbolt... I'm looking at this ROM Virusrom Gingersense

I get confused right here

Select Partition sdcard
Select Partition SD
I have a 18GB Card so i left the swap at 32mb you can choose 0 if you like
Ext2-size = 2048 (this is 2GB the reason so big is because of the 3.0 packages taking up so much space)
Select upgrade ext2 to ext3

?????? Is 8 GB too small

Flashing different roms and kernels it will fill up pretty fast. If you have the larger card use it. If not, there's work arounds.

No 8GB isn't too small. The swap is only 32MB, so no worries there. And the extended partition being created is only 2GB, so no worries there either. You should have plenty of space remaining after you flash. Remeber, partitioning your SD card will wipe all the data from it, so make sure you have it backed up before you do this or you will lose all your songs, pics, videos, etc... Learn from those that fell before you...
