I sort of disagree. As I see it the iPad is an irrelevance with a very stale OS which has had next to no innovation for the past 3 years (I had early iOS devices, as did many here).
Motorola and Samsung (and I suspect HTC as well) should be utterly lambasted for the ridiculous pricing strategies, which has been exposed by the price / quality balance of tablets like the Transformer, and also Iconia. I mean, Ferrari *do* make great cars, and many of us would love one, but pricing restricts our options. (I'd actually prefer a Maserati Coupe Cambiocorse; 4 proper seats, Ferrari running gear etc!)
The pricing structures that are prevalent at the moment are restricting the uptake of Android tablets generally -> smaller market -> fewer developers -> innovation stifled.
Just my opinion!
