Question Kindle Fire 7 Audio Books

I'm new to Fire 7. I want to know where I can buy selected audio books without having to subscribe to a monthly subscription. So if I buy a book, it's mine forever. Also, what is the best app to use for audio books. Thanks in advance.

Go to amazon.com, and look up the audiobook you want to buy, The default purchase option will be the free Audible trial, but if you look under that, you should see another option for Buy -- highlight that option, and you should be able to purchase that audiobook outright, without having to subscribe.

Can I ask one more question? I bought the audio book (I bought the Kindle version). Now I can't get it to read the book. It only shows up in my Kindle library, not in my audible library.

I can't see a way to do it.

I see what I did wrong. I searched for "The thorn birds audio book" but didn't see that I can only get it with a membership. I assumed that if I buy the Kindle version, it will be an audiobook too. So in the audible app, the membership fee is R280 but if you want to buy the book alone, it's R440!!! Is there no where cheaper to buy standalone audio books? Thanks for the help!!!

Hmm, that might be a regional thing, then. When I was looking, I saw an option to buy the audiobook along, without an Audible membership (I'm in the US).

Ah! You solved the mystery. See screenshot. It's expensive but doable. It works out to R330 as opposed to R440 I think. Thanks so much.
