Sounds like it could be like how they handled the Nexus 4 last year. Announce with a press release (perhaps a tech site somewhere has an exclusive "making of" and interviews) and make available for order around 11AM to 12PM ET.

what sucks is ordering on a Friday makes us suffer through the extra shipping time of the weekend.

I will have both loaded for sure but the shipping is what will dictate which one pull the trigger on. If amazon has it I will go there to get the one day shipping.

I'm really not sure, I just know on Amazon its very expensive for Saturday delivery. I've only ever bought a Chromecast from Google Play and didn't even check to see what the other shipping options were.

We got our Nexus 7 Tab from Amazon and it came Saturday Delivery. I never found it on a regular search - someone had put up a link to it. Does anyone know where the N5 may be "hiding" on Amazon when the time comes?
