So, I have been struggling with this a while now, but I am getting pretty desperate. Been going around with two phones for a few months now.
Problem is, when I put my SIM in my phone, it says "Phone not allowed for voice" and it doesn't even recognize my carrier. Showing "Emergency Calls Only" in my status bar. When I bought my Samsung S8, and I bought it not original, I could put in my SIM and it would recognize it. Then it started to mess up and I couldn't call anyone. When I would put my SIM in another phone, I would call someone, then put it back and it would work again. But then in October, it didn't even work that way anymore so I had to put my SIM in an another phone so I could call people. Now I want to fix my phone, but I think I have tried almost anything.
I tried:
removing SIM like 1000 times;
factory reseting like 5 times;
flashing firmware 2 times;
using different codes, but I get a message "Not registered on Network";
putting another SIM, but not from another carrier;
checking if it is blacklisted, I checked several times (it is not);
checking IMEI;
using Safe Mode;
checking updates like million times and updating everything;
I don't know what to do anymore... If I give it to Samsung Support, it would cost me almost the same if I bought a new one, because I have cracked my back glass a bit, and I am not that rich. Maybe it's a radio reciever problem, but I can Emergency call so I doubt it. Maybe someone can help me. If I get it working from you guys, I will give you 20$ or something like that, because I am that desparate... I hope it is not against TOS.
I am from Latvia, using Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950F and my carrier is Bite Latvija.
