I am currently a Droid user, but wanted to know about a feature that I believe is included in Android 2.1.
By Quick Contact, I am referring to the ribbon that pops up when you tap a persons picture in contacts, or other compatible program, that allows you to access them through all the other services. Text, email, facebook, etc...
This is included in Android 2.0 (2.0.1), but I want to know if you can put the Quick Contact on your home screen. I can add a regular contact, which acts as if I was inside the contacts app and selected someone, and I can put a direct dial shortcut on my home screen....but...
It would be slick to be able to have a Quick Contact icon for someone, allowing you to quickly select the mode you wish to contact them with.
Thanks.
