Random Restarts/ Screen Locks up

Hi Guys,
I've had the Evo 3D about a month now and recently I've started to experience random reboots. Yesterday, I was listening to my podtrapper app and it did it. One thing I did notice was that it was VERY hot. I also have issues with the screen sometimes locking up and only the 4 buttons at the bottom will work. After 30 secs - 1min, it usually unfreezes itself. I saw a couple other threads but wanted to know if you guys thought these issues were the result of the latest update or a bad phone?

the freezing thing happened to me once. Screen went unresponsive for a min. Hasn't happened since though.

yeah my screen locks up and I have to pull down the notification bar to get it to work again.. Hopefully this bug is fixed in the next update..

I had this issue and did a process of elimination with apps and found out that it was my swiftkey x that was faulty. I uninstalled it and phone hasnt frozen/rebooted since.

I would uninstall an app one at a time to see if that could be the problem.
