[ROM][UPDATED 08/20/2012] CyanogenMod v. 9 .1.0 STABLE: ICS Android 4.0.4 for Samsung Epic 4G
The Epic CM Team have released CyanogenMod 9.1.0 Stable on Monday August 20th..........so am hoping that ALL lovers of CyanogenMod join me in Thanking the Epic CM Team for successfully bringing closure to both ALHA + BETA stages of development + achieving Release Candidate 1 + 2 Status (a good number of bugs having been worked out, still advancing towards Official).............+ NOW we are STOKED to be welcoming CM9.1.0 Stable!!!!............BIG PROPS to the entire Epic CM Team: Developers
Uberpinguin, mkasick, wispoffates, noobnl, Decad3nce, wtogami, Tortel, bbelos, nullghost, Alias8818, gTan64, AproSamurai, DRockstar, nubecoder, marcusant.........................everyone that has followed CM development on our EPIC4G devices KNOWS that none of the recent awesomeness that sparked new life into our phones would have been possible w/out the amazing builds that have emerged from this team...................you guys ROCK!
[08/20/2012][CM9.1.0_Stable_EPICMTD] *+ CM Nightly Builds / Download Links* are being offered on this thread as we collectively define a path towards CM9 Official Release Status for the Epic 4G!
..........CM9_Nightly Builds + 9.1.0_Stable Builds continue to forge a path towards CM9 OFFICIAL RELEASE; all future RC Builds will continue to be available for download as soon as these are deemed ready for public use by the EPIC CM Team, meaning: the actual incidence of release is not tied to any particular schedule but rather will be based on the actual readiness of particular builds that the Epic CM Team feels are viable for release...........please note that future RC Builds, alongside future Nightly Builds, will be offered to us in a somewhat logical fashion: ALSO, note that RC builds may be flashed right atop the previous RC / Nightly build, no need to WIPE prior builds, often no need to re-flash GApps.......THIS IS TRUE particularly if you are NOT running any NON-CM9 mods, kernels, or tweaks foreign to the RC Builds; FINALLY, if you are pleased w/ a certain build + it works well w/ your device, then PLEASE feel free to remain there as long as your comfort level allows + explore all of the features + goodness for as long as you wish............continue to CHECK THE EPIC CM BLOG for the description of advancing features as described on the accompanying Changelogs for Future Builds for hints of your next flash: haha ............Enjoy!
..............as always, all links are currrently open and downloads steady............Please continue to check in with any concerns whatsoever, as members are at the ready to assist you with questions that you may have regarding this + newer RC Builds + releases......we will attempt to update this thread as necessary (especially as Updates are released)..............NOW, to the essential heart of the matter:
In the words of UberPinguin (Epic CM Team) on the evening of Initial CM9 Release:
[01/30/2012-- CM9 alpha-0: Android 4.0.3 for Samsung Epic 4G]
"The Epic CM team is proud to announce the release of CyanogenMod 9 alpha-0 for Sprint's Samsung Epic 4G.
