Did all and downloaded rootcheck. Says I have root access. So all looks successful but I still see "your device is not compatible with this application" in play store. Guessing I just need to restart the phone. Let me know if there is something else I need to do aside from restart to alleviate that issue. Gonna hunt down the bloatware in the meantime. Thanks for posting and thanks giantpune!

I did not receive the Removed hook or haxx lives to fight another day lines. The rest is the same though and as I said, rootcheck says I'm rooted. everything still good without those two lines?

can I use above packages to make my Swipe Elite2 android phone as a rooted device?
