software updates with another carrier's phone

My phone is a Samsung note 3 that was from at&t. I got it unlocked prior to switching to tmobile.
I checked for an over the air software update under phone settings. And it say I can download and install a new update from the at&t server over wifi.

Should I do it or is that going to remove my unlock? II can't get over the air updates anymore, can I ever update my phone software again?

No please don't update again else you will suffer.. I hope you resolved with your problem

OP don't listen to him, updating your software doesn't remove the carrier unlock, once it's sim/carrier unlocked it's permanent. You can update without any problems
