Speaker on my V30 automatically lowers music volume

To be clear, this isn't a problem with headphones, it's a problem I only have when listening to music or podcasts from the phone's speaker. After listening for a couple of minutes on a relatively high volume, the phone automatically lowers the volume.

Does your phone have an adaptive sound setting? Go to settings and use the search bar to search adaptive sound to see if it comes up. Or it could be adaptive volume. Maybe just search the word adaptive.

Make sure your volume button are free and not sticking or case maybe interfering
