It's difficult to fight with an opponent that won't step into the ring. Apple couldn't care less about Samsung. Samsung is under the impression that iPhone people are persuadable. As a rule, in my experience, the vast majority of iPhone people aren't technodweebs. They aren't interested in/fascinated by the next big thing. If Apple engaged in a marketing campaign that said consuming two table spoons of bark chips each day would make iPhone better, the majority would do it.
Again, in my experience, Android people are curious, questioning, testing, prodding, often pushing the boundaries of what's possible. If it isn't possible, they ask why not?.......over and over again. It'd be great if Samsung simply focused on being themselves and not waste time in trying to be better than Apple. They're accepting the premise that Apple is better. They're not. They're different.
