Update on Verizon

That would depend on the phone AND the carrier. Verizon doesn't issue security updates to all cellphones at once. (Some of them need an update badly, because they have huge security holes, some actually don't.)

OK, interesting. It upgraded to 1.85 security patch. I believe the unlocked ones now have 1.92? Not sure about that, but an incremental step up is something.

Yeah it's the September patch. I don't mind being 1 month behind

Unlocked 10's are at 1.96.617.20 with the October update.

It arrived last night. Made my phone overheat and notify to close apps LOL. It got to 116 degrees. That cant be a good thing...

116 is not a problem. That is just the ambient temperature in the summer where I live. You don't have to worry until it gets a lot hotter than that.
