I shot these trees in Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston with my Nexus 5 just after the sun dipped below the horizon and the street lamps in the square were glowing. It was October 14 of this year around 6:15pm. Though it was 'auto awesomed' by Google, the colors are not altered. The leaves are a slightly gold tone on top, while still green underneath. The faint sunlight and the street lamps in Faneuil Hall were shining on the top of the leaves in the front of the shot - so they glowed bright gold. I thought it looked incredible and it was amazing you could see this kind of natural beauty in the middle of a very urban downtown area.

Went on a local mini adventure with my younger to El Dorado Nature Center this past week with my younger sister adn we found ourselves in what could be seen as an enchanted forest with trees engulfing the path on all sides. The way the trees create an arch over the path is truly majestic and the walk was amazing.

Taken with lG G3,with HDR on ,and edited with gimp. This photo is made up of two photos one photo I took of the tree a week 1/2 ago when there was still leaves on the tree and the other a couple of days ago. Then I put both photos together in gimp and made one photo transparent to make the a X-Ray affect by seeing through the tree to the branches.This was my first time using software on a computer and making a effect that I did't know how to make with the tools given, but I did get a good end result.
