Well, I finally did it!

I ordered a Pixel 8, in Hazel, with 256 GB of storage today from Google.

I’ll either send in my P7P for the paltry $315 Google will give me, or sell it to my #1 granddaughter for the same, if she’s interested.

In spite of the telephoto lens, which is why I bought it, I never really liked it, because I don’t like big phones.

Im looking forward to getting it.

The size, the new screen, enhanced security, and the extended support are what made me jump, after only one year.

Traded in my Pixel 7 for the Pixel 8 and very happy with the upgrade. Much brighter display and faster wired charging. Don't hear this mentioned much but noticeable difference in charging speed over the P7. Love the smaller size as well.....hope this is a trend...

Received today, and mostly set up, with maybe some tweaking still to do.

I am absolutely delighted with the size, and it makes the P7P seem even clunkier.

Seems to be a superb phone.

Did I mention that I am delighted?
