When I get a new phone, I always set the back camera to use a 16:9 aspect ratio and just take the hit on megapixels (lower). I have just never been a fan of 4:3 photos for anything other than selfies.
For the front camera, I leave it at 4:3. Now, with wide-angle selfies, I am not sure what I am going to do. I take about 10 selfies a year so it's not going to be a big deal.
I am curious what other people do and do you change ratios frequently or just leave it set to one all the time?
