Try to reset yourself on the network. Remove your battery and some card for about 15 minuets. If that doesn't work, try to see if there is any dust built up inside of where your mic hole is. If there is clean it out. From there, if that doesn't work.... if ALLLLLLLL else fails... back up your photos and videos using Drive, and do a factory reset.

And if a factory reset doesn't work I'm diagnosing either an intermittent mic, an intermittent connection between the mic and the motherboard or something intermittent on the motherboard - any of which would require a trip to a repair shop.

BTW, by "some card", I think simba meant SIM card. If you have an external SD card, try it with that removed (when the phone is off) too. Bad SD cards can cause some strange problems.
