Why am I unable to update to Android 11?

[Android Central Question]

I have been checking for software update on my Galaxy S10+, the present version is Android 10 and One UI 2.1, I believe there should have been an update available to Android 11 and One UI 3.0, but it keeps saying it is up to date.

My Galaxy S10+ is the US version, SM-G975U, although I use it in Nigeria.

Welcome to Android Central! Is it carrier-branded? If so, then it probably needs to be on that carrier's network to get the official updates.

Have you already tried using Smart Switch to update?

Under preference , when you click the little box for software update it will let you know when ones available, this is the PC Smart Switch not on the phone
