Why do i constantly see a banner asking me to download the app for the website i am on?

Why do i constantly see a banner asking me to download the app for the website i am on? I have already clicked the "x" to close this several times on previous visits

I am using a Samsung s21 using chrome to browse and I frequently see these types of banners suggesting I download the app for the website i I using.

If possible I want to turn this feature off entirely. As a rule- I never want to recieve suggestions to download the app of a website. Example Adverts.ie (Irish buying and selling website)

I get the same thing when I go on websites that have apps. I think it is coded into the website.

Welcome to Android Central! Yeah, you can't avoid that. When I go to the Facebook mobile site, I often (but not always) see a banner encouraging me to install Facebook Lite.
