Why do I have color lines all over my screen?

I have color lines all over my screen!

My phone(sony xperia z)randomly turned off, when i turned it on lines appeared on the screen, but no picture.If i hit the screen, it shows picture for couple of seconds.
Someone help!

It sounds like a hardware fault of some sort. I doubt that there's anything you can do to fix it yourself. With any luck, it will just be a poor connection.
