Why don't all text messages get delivered to my Samsung Galaxy J3?

It's a brand new phone, works great, but some messages come through on IM on my iPad that should come to my phone

If I understand correctly, some IM are received in your iPad
instead of your Galaxy J3 Do I'm correct..Check this old
