Why is my phone displaying the wrong date when it's set correctly?

[Android Central Question]

In my settings I've set it to the right date and the right time with the right time zone. However when you pull done for your icons like wifi etc. the bar there is one day ahead so today is the 29th it's fine on my lock screen but when I pull down it says it's sunday 30th.

Which phone ? You try safe mode?

At a quick glance, that sounds like a time zone problem.
