help me out is there a way to find out if i was sold a certified pre owned phone ??

im askin cuz i asked for a new phone the person who sold me the phone said it was new but just now i saw a wierd messge in the lock screen n i swiped it n when i got in the phone it opened up the my tmobile app an i was lookin tru it didnt be4 i should have and in the phone section it says the phone i got is a certified preowned phone and i was like wtf now im sad

so how can i verify it realy is preowned ?

Just based on your currnet post, if you got a box with it, look at the IMEI number on the box and see if it matches the phone. If not, you got a recertified phone.

Did you look at the IMEI number on the box and compare it to the phone as suggested?
