Emergency Call button on lock screen - keypad or straight to 911?

Does the "Emergency Call" button (on the lock screen) access 911 directly, or simply take you to the numeric keypad to dial a specific number?

I use a PIN for security, and I'd hate to find out the hard way what happens if I accidentally hit that button while the phone is locked...

I couldn't find any info on this in the FAQ or in the Incredible posts - running Android 2.2 (preloaded on phone when shipped) if that helps any.

On my EVO (which should be similar) it just brings up a dial pad where you can then dial 911.
