is there any way to restore phone settings after a clean flash?
i dont mean ROM control in aokp, or the launcher layout, but stuff like ringtones, etc.... what bugs me the most is that i literally have to go through all the options, and remember to do things like re-set my alarms, set gtalk and sms to vibrate on notification, etc...

is there a faster way? or is this just how it has to be.

I just tried this on my last flash and so far I have zero problems. I used titanium backup and restored data individually to the apps I wanted to keep. The only thing I had to change was my ringtone. Everything else ( alarms, notifications etc. ) came back. I've only done it the one time but It seems to work. Hope that helps.

No.. System data you cannot restore if you don't want issues.

My recommendation is to make a list. I used to have one that would remind me:
- ringtone/sound settings
- all google/fbook/etc accounts
- etc down the list.. All your settings.
Just have a list so you know you won't forget anything, and working off the list will make things quicker for you. Eventually it will become second nature and you won't need the list anymore.
