Where is the nifty weather time thing that used to occupy my 4th home screen

Since purchase a few wks ago I've had a nice weather time thing that occupied the top 1/3 or so of my 4th home screen.
It has now disappeared.

How can I get it back? I've tried downloading weather widgets but it once installed when clicked it offers several widgets to choose from, when I click the weather icon I get a full screen weath thing.,... This is not what I had before nor what I'm after.
Can anyone coach me a bit?

When you decide on the widget you want, press and hold down the widget and move to the desired location. Don't lift your dinner until it's at the location you want.
