Some Nights SIII Will Not Charge

Some nights I will plug in my phone and wake up to 100% others I wake up where I started when I plugged it in. When I plug it in it always shows the lightning bolt and I go to sleep. I will even wake up in the morning to see the light on indicating it fully charged. Is it my charger? I have a Belkin USB extension Cable pulgged into the samsung cable. My powersource is a woods usb surge protector

try the oem usb cord, aftermarkey cables do not always play nice.

The primary points of failure to eliminate: The charger, the phone's usb port, and the battery. Since it's an intermittent problem, I'd say is probably not the battery. I'd try using a different charger (starting with the one that came with the phone, no extender), and see if that makes a difference. If you notice this behavior with several different chargers/cables, then it may be the phone's usb port.
