Got mine last night and attempted to activate it this morning. Obviously since I'm a secondary line within a family plan I have to have permission from the main line, but that aside, what is with the issues activating? Can I take it to a Verizon store and see if they can do anything? I know the account password and the last 4 of the main line's SSN, so would they be able to take care of it?
