After update, google maps keeps relaunching after force quit?!

Before the firmware update, after I use google maps, I force close and it stayed closed until I used it again. Now after the firmware update, after I force close google maps, 20 secs later it's running in the background. I keep force closing it and it pops up again under "running apps" . Anybody else having this problem?
